How to declutter books

Is there anything harder than decluttering books? I don’t think so…

I love searching for books, making lists of books, going to the library, and buying books. There is nothing better than getting an Amazon envelope in the mail with a new paperback – except maybe a date night at Barnes and Noble. LOVE LOVE LOVE books. But how many are too many? How do I declutter books? Today I’m sharing the process and lesson I recently learned about parting ways with beautiful books.

Making a Command Center in Your Home https://cakewalkco.com/making-a-command-center-in-your-home/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=making-a-command-center-in-your-home Thu, 16 Feb 2023 10:43:00 +0000 https://cakewalkco.com/?p=471

5 Steps to Creating a System for

Never-ending Incoming Paperwork

Organizing your life is key to success these days! Have you ever wished there was a way to keep all the paperwork and essential documents in one place?

Look no further because creating a command center in your home can help make this possible. Not only will it help you stay organized, but it also provides an inviting space for collecting incoming paperwork. With a few simple steps, you can have your own personalized command center in no time! Read on to learn more about creating the perfect command center and making organization convenient and fun!

Creating your home command center:

  1. Identify a dedicated space for your command center: You want to make sure you have enough room to fit all the supplies and tools you’ll need in one spot. This could be a desk, wall, or corner of your house.
  2. Gather essential tools: Depending on your needs and preferences, you’ll need pens, paper, folders, and filing cabinets. It could also be helpful to have a laptop or desktop computer so you can stay connected online.
  3. Set up productive zones: Your command center should include separate areas for work tasks, errands, and personal projects. Maybe a folder or drop bin for each project and task, like meal planning and bills. This will help keep you organized and focused when tackling your week.
  4. Stay organized: Create a way to track progress, like a whiteboard or task list. Nothing feels better than marking off an item!
  5. Make it inviting: You want your command center to be an inviting and inspiring space. Try to make it as comfortable as possible by adding a few personal touches, like photos or artwork. And don’t forget to light the room with soft lighting!

Now that you have a five-point outline for developing a command center in your house, you can start creating a productive and inspiring environment that will help you stay organized! Good luck! 🙂
